How Far Along? 15 Weeks today!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +1.. I think I lost a few, and gained a few back since the beginning. My weight has definitely been shifting around - probably away from my muscles to my stomach!
Maternity Clothes: Not a one. Luckily, I like to wear a lot of my clothes a little loose. So I've been wearing the "looser" ones more often lately.
Baby Related Purchases: Snoogle! I can thank reading other pregnancy blogs for this awesome discovery. You see, I only sleep on my back, very rarely, on my stomach. Well, turns out both of those are bad positions for pregnancy - especially for later on. The Snoogle helps you sleep on your side. I'm sleeping with it most nights just to get in the habit of sleeping on my side.
Stretch marks: Nope
Sleep: I definitely have been getting up more in the middle of the night...
Movement: nothing yet!
What I miss: believe it or not, alcohol! This one is shocking to me to, since I wasn't much of a drinker before - buy hey - you want what you can't have I guess. I can't wait until my first full glass of wine and/or margarita in come July!
Cravings: I'm pretty much past the wanting all things greasy stage that plagued me in the first trimester. But this week, I can't get enough Wendy's Frostys. So far, I've tried the vanilla one and the oreo one -YUM!
Anything making you queasy or sick: not really...but I'm finding it hard to eat super healthy food.
Gender: Find out on Feb. 14th!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Tummy that looks like it is full all the time
Belly Button In or Out? In
Happy or Moody most of the time: Is tired an answer? I been back to my old bedtime of midnight, and it is catching up with me!
Worries: that everything is still okay...sometimes I feel like I'm not even pregnant! I think this will get better as I start to show more...
Best moments this week: pigging out at Miyabi's with the hubby, finished off by watching Flawless together. Also had Mellow Mushroom with friends and watched the Republican Debate.
Looking forward to: 3rd doctor's appointment next Tuesday
Size of Baby: About the size of an apple!
from BabyCenter) Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces. She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl! (Don't be too disappointed if it remains a mystery, though. Nailing down your baby's sex depends on the clarity of the picture and on your baby's position. He or she may be modestly curled up or turned in such a way as to "hide the goods.") - Unfortunately, we won't be finding out the gender for another 5 weeks at our 20 week appointment on Feb. 14th!
Get caught up!
